A very unusual crystal formation the base is milky Quartz with secondary growth of Smoky Quartz
then Amethyst Quartz as the termination's, Attractive and unusual.

The crystal structure on the termination of the scepter is secondary growth on top of the main crystal.
The bottom picture shows the Amethyst termination's they are like a wall, They do not go all the way around
the main crystal a very unusual crystal pattern, Looks great.

This one has some pink Albite on the back.
The Amethyst Smoky Quartz is made up of a plate of crystals that sit on the side at the top (end ) of a Quartz crystal.
Very unusual formation with the edge of the plate in Amethyst.

This piece is shaped like blocky wedge that is hollow in the middle with clear Quartz in the middle and Amethyst on the edges.
A very esthetic looking piece with good Amethyst color.

A very nice piece a single Quartz crystal with a Amethyst cluster sat on the side.
The amethyst is 14 x 17mm a second generation growth and looks great just perched on the side of the Quartz crystal.

This is the most unusual piece it is made up of a smoky quartz crystal with several areas of second generation growth
of clear and amethyst Quartz.
The Amethyst point at one end is 9mm long.




Code WN14-9 REVERSE SCEPTER AMETHYST $45-00 US.

Size Miniature, 3.3 xz 4.2 x 3cm. Weight 13grams.

The label above came with the specimen this Amethyst first appeared in 1962 and they were fascinated by the green tinge in the
Amethyst so they tried to heat treat it to see if it changed the color it did not so they were impressed.
The crystals are up to 10mm long with lots of Double terminated and reverse Scepter crystals a unusual piece.
